Question:
When we make an ACH payment in the production environment, the amount of the ACH is held from the account balance. However, when calling the hold endpoint, nothing is returned.
Is this a sandbox issue also or should we expect the hold to be returned?
Answer:
The information you are looking for shows as a memo post, not a hold. A memo post is created for all ACH payments when they are first initiated to validate that the money is available in the account.
In the sandbox, we simulate all ACH events.
When moving from the sandbox environment to the production environment, it is important to keep in mind that things move much faster in the sandbox.
